Managing Students
The Students section shows all students currently assigned to you. Unlike leads, these are students who have accepted an invitation, created an account, and are actively working with IEC.Student list view
The students page shows a table with:- Student name and photo
- Current application stage (the furthest along application)
- Active applications count
- Pending tasks count
- Last activity date
- Action buttons (Message, View Applications, Assign Task)
Opening a student record
Click on a student’s name to open their full profile. The student record has several tabs:Overview tab
- Personal details (name, email, phone, nationality, date of birth)
- Counselor assigned
- Enrolled date
- Recent activity timeline
Applications tab
All applications for this student. You can:- Add a new application
- Update application status
- Add notes per application
- Request documents
Documents tab
All documents uploaded by the student. You can:- Approve or reject documents
- Request specific new documents
- See the document checklist status
Tasks tab
Tasks assigned to this student. You can:- Create new tasks
- Edit existing tasks
- Mark tasks as completed on the student’s behalf
- Set due dates and priorities
Messages tab
Your chat history with this student.Assigning tasks to a student
- Open the student record.
- Click the Tasks tab.
- Click + Assign Task.
- Fill in:
- Title — what the student needs to do
- Description — detailed instructions
- Due date
- Priority — High / Medium / Low
- Type — Upload document / Provide info / Review and confirm / General
- Click Save — the student receives a notification immediately.
Sending a message to a student
From the student list, click the 💬 message icon on the student’s row. This opens a direct chat panel. Type and send your message — the student sees it in their Support section.Requesting documents
- Open the student’s Documents tab.
- Click Request Document.
- Choose the document type and add instructions.
- The student receives a task automatically prompting them to upload it.
