Support & Messaging
The Support section is your direct line to your assigned counselor. All messages are private between you and your IEC team.Sending a message
- Click Support in the left sidebar.
- Type your message in the text box at the bottom.
- Press Enter or click Send.
What to use messaging for
✅ Good topics for messaging:- Asking about your application status
- Requesting a document checklist update
- Questions about visa requirements
- Scheduling a consultation call
- Reporting an issue with a task or document
- Urgent matters — call IEC directly for time-sensitive issues
- Sharing passwords or sensitive financial data
Attachments
You can attach files directly in the chat:- Click the 📎 paperclip icon next to the message box.
- Select a file from your device.
- The file will appear as a preview — click Send to attach it.
AI Compass Assistant
At the bottom-right of the screen, there is a small chat bubble icon — this is the IEC Compass, an AI assistant that can answer general questions about:- Study destinations and universities
- Visa requirements
- Application timelines
- Programme requirements
Compass is an AI assistant and cannot see your personal account data. For account-specific questions, always use the Support messaging section to speak with your counselor.
